Figs and Ricotta
Figs are one of my favorite fruits and so simple to prepare for family and friends. But figs and ricotta? Glorious!
Add some fluffy, creamy ricotta cheese, a tiny bit of honey, and I’m in heaven. These delicious little bites are perfect as an appetizer or dessert. A healthy and delicious addition to your next gathering!
Ingredients
- 8 figs
- 1/3 cup walnuts
- 1/3 cup ricotta
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Toast walnuts in a skillet on the stove, approximately 3-5 minutes. Chop when cool
- Slice each fig in half and place cut side up. Use your finger to make a small depression in the cut side of each fig and fill with ricotta. Sprinkle with walnuts, a small drizzle of honey, and salt.
These are just gorgeous! Figs are divine. Even better with cheese 😉
