New Year’s Eve Party Food

New Year’s is a special night and a cocktail party is always a fun way to celebrate. To start 2018 off right, here are some of my favorite little bites to help you create a fun-filled evening. And don’t tell your guests, but these delicious recipes also have some great health benefits.

Pomegranate Old Fashioned
First, let’s begin with a drink. My Pomegranate Old Fashioned is a modern twist on a classic cocktail. The pomegranate seeds give it a pop of flavor and a beautiful jewel tone color that is perfect for the holiday season.

prosciutto with melon and mint

Along with your cocktail, try something delightful like these Prosciutto Cups with Melon and Mint. You only need three ingredients! These crispy and delicious little cups are sure to impress your guests.

grape cheese balls
For a fun throw back to the 1970s and ‘80s, make my Grape Cheese Balls. Filled with herbs, spices, and nuts, they combine both creamy and crunchy into a yummy treat. They are also quick and easy to prepare.

Green Goddess Crab Salad with Endive

Now, for something a little different, take a look at my Green Goddess Crab Salad with Endive. Shellfish is always special, and here I have combined crab with yogurt, herbs, and lemon to create something elegant, simple, and tasty. When scooped onto endive leaves, the crab salad makes a perfect bite.

Celebrate midnight with a glass of champagne and my Strawberries and Mascarpone. This super simple recipe is a sweet way to finish the evening and a great start to the New Year!

Here’s to a Happy (and Healthy) 2018!

Note: When shopping for the evening, plan on 4-5 pieces per person from the five different food recipes.
